The easiest way to put yourself in a positive frame of mind each day is to feel and act as if you have already achieved your goals. This may sound a little quirky, but you have nothing to lose by doing this and everything to gain. Success

Think about it. People who are successful and happy tend to act:

  •  Confident
  • Vibrant
  • Outgoing
  • Energetic

People who are struggling with their career goals tend to be:

  •  Frustrated
  • Worrisome
  • Angry
  • Sluggish

If you were to experience the range of emotions in these two lists on any given day, which list is more likely to propel you towards achieving your goals? Obviously, it would be the first list.

Believe it or not, you get to choose the emotions you feel each day because you get to choose the thoughts you think every moment of your life.

When you feel and act as if you have already achieved your goals, your body posture improves, your breathing relaxes, a smile comes to your face and you are much better able to dream big, focus on what you want, and take inspired actions that get butt-kicking results.

So drop the funky attitude and choose to feel like a rock star—because you are!
