One of my favorite books is, The Miracle Morning, by keynote speaker and Hall of Fame business achiever, Hal Elrod. For years I had been a notorious night owl, but had slowly become frustrated with my level of productivity.

The reason for my decreased output was simple. Instead of going to bed at midnight, waking up at 7 a.m. and starting my work day at 9 a.m., I had drifted into a routine of going to bed at 10:30 p.m. or 11 p.m. at the latest—while still getting up at 7 a.m.

Plus, over years I had developed a daily 30-minute meditation routine. Although the benefits of meditation and setting your intensions is amazing, the time I was dedicating to it on a daily basis was also reducing the time I spent taking action in my business.

However, my life instantly changed when I read Hal Elrod’s book, The Miracle Morning, which was recommended to me by my friend and rock star online entrepreneur, Amber Ludwig. In the book, Hal details a one-hour daily self-development routine that encompasses:

  •  Bolting out of bed around 5:30 a.m. each day
  • Practicing meditation, contemplation and setting your intentions
  • Writing and speaking daily affirmations
  • Visualizing your success
  • Exercising and movement
  • Reading self-development books and blogs
  • Journaling and recording your life
  • Speaking out loud about the great things you EXPECT to come into your life

With this new daily routine, I’m now in bed by 10 p.m. and up by 5:30 a.m. for my Miracle Morning Routine. The changes in my life and productivity have been unbelievable!

Right now I’m in Amber Lugwig’s eight-week Authentic Messenger course, and last week Hal Elrod joined our weekly Google Hangout to talk about, The Miracle Morning. His energy and inspiration were amazing. It’s always great to meet people who are the real deal, and Hal Elrod is certainly all that.

So, if you want to really shift your life, pick up your energy and jack up your productivity—I highly recommend you get your hands on a copy of, The Miracle Morning. You’ll be glad you did!
